DisMatch 18+ is small but powerful. The system will be housed inside a single, embedded interface and interacted with via buttons and drop-down menus. The bot uses / commands for three main instances:

/matchmaking embed - To embed the program into the server

/reveal - To agree to identify yourself to your match

/report - To report TOS violations occurring during the DisMatch 18+ hosted DM session.

For Guild Owners:

Invite the DisMatch 18+ bot to your server using the invite link.

Grant the bot the necessary permissions to function correctly.

Create a dedicated room or channel for the DisMatch 18+ bot.

Type the "/start matchmaking" command in the channel.

Customize and display the TOS with your server's specific instructions, guidelines, and DisMatch 18+ user instructions.

For Users:

Press the "Set" button on the interface to open the customization menu. Select your demographics and those sought.

While not mandatory, consider filling in the short bio for your match to read.

Please be mindful of TOS and local server rules when choosing your words.

Press the "Get" button to review your answers.

Make any necessary changes by pressing the "Update" button.

Press "Match" and wait to be matched. DMS MUST BE OPEN!

After Matching:

When DisMatch 18+ matches, it connects you via DM and says, "Say Hi." You can say more than Hi, but say something. You are typing to the bot, but a person is on the other side. Talking via the bot is how you stay anonymous.

A green checkmark confirms message delivery. ✅

If there is no checkmark, it means it wasn't delivered. They most likely shut down DMs. Return to the DisMatch 18+ bot, press "Unmatch, " then "Match."

I got the DM, immediately said 'Hi,' and got the ✅, but no response.

Matching does not guarantee their interest or indicate availability.

Your match may have just joined, already been paired with someone else, or been waiting for a few days or weeks before being paired with you.

Response times differ, so, yes, set expectations, but be mindful that time zone conflicts and real-life demands will happen before instantly unmatching.

I do not like this match. Nothing wrong, but no chemistry.

If the match does not meet your expectations, return to the DisMatch 18+ bot, press "Unmatch "and then "Match." The system will start searching for the next person; you won't be matched with that account again.

I like this match and want to get to know them directly

If you've been chatting and feel this is the right match, you can reveal your Discord names to each other using the /reveal command. Both parties must agree. Be 100% sure.

I like this match but see red flags for clinger/chaser behaviors.

You can remain anonymous and continue chatting without divulging any personal information for as long as you desire. The bot will maintain the connection until one of you decides to unmatch. There are no time constraints to be concerned about, but you can only have one match at a time.

Reporting:

DisMatch 18+ supports you in reporting any violations of the TOS, including verbal abuse, minors, sellers, catfishing, or flagrantly inappropriate behavior. Use the /report command inside the DM and then return to the DisMatch 18+ bot and press "Unmatch."

They will not know you did it, and you will never see each other's their details.
