About Spotify For Artists

The Spotify for Artists Bot automatically tracks your favourite music artists on Spotify and posts new releases (singles, EPs, and albums) directly into your Discord server.

⚙️ How it Works
Admins configure the bot with simple slash commands:
* /setchannel — Choose where updates are posted.
* /addartist — Add an artist to track.
* /removeartist — Stop tracking an artist.
* /listartists — See all artists currently being tracked.
* /stats — View total servers, members, and tracked artists.

The bot connects to Spotify’s public API using official client credentials to:
* Search for artists by name.
* Check their most recent releases every 5 minutes.
* Compare release IDs to detect new songs or albums.

Feature	Description
Tracks Artists	`/addartist <name>` finds the artist on Spotify and adds it to your guild’s list.
Sets Channel	`/setchannel #channel` defines where release updates are posted.
Removes & Lists	`/removeartist` and `/listartists` manage tracked artists easily.
Spotify Checks	Every 5 minutes, it fetches each artist’s latest album/single and posts if new.
Storage	Uses `artists.json` to persist guilds, channels, and last release IDs — no DB needed.
