About RoleplayEngine

Your Entire Roleplay World, Powered by One Bot

RoleplayEngine turns your Discord server into a living, connected world. Characters build lives, earn money, own property, start companies, commit crimes, enforce laws, pay taxes, invest in stocks, respond to emergencies, and shape the community around them.

Every system connects to the others, so roleplay decisions have real, lasting consequences.

👥 Living Characters

Create detailed characters with their own identity, birthdate, nationality, fiscal code, profile photo, documents, money, possessions, employment, medical history, and criminal record.

Players can maintain multiple characters and switch between them, while citizenship applications and server roles keep character access organized. Staff can suspend, transfer, revoke citizenship from, or permanently archive characters through permadeath and permanent-imprisonment storylines.

A character is not just a profile—it is the center of everything that happens in RoleplayEngine.

💶 A Real Economy

Characters have separate cash and bank balances, allowing them to deposit earnings, withdraw money, pay one another, transfer funds, purchase shares, settle fines, and pay companies or the government.

Every transaction becomes part of the wider economy. Salaries leave company or government funds, receipts generate business revenue, taxes support the public treasury, and investments move money into the stock market.

Players can review their transaction history or compete for a place on the live wealth leaderboard—but the richest citizen may also attract the most attention.

🏢 Companies & Careers

Characters can establish private companies, while governments can operate state-owned organizations. Businesses have their own liquidity, revenue history, employees, salaries, receipts, properties, vehicles, permissions, and transaction records.

Owners can recruit employees, delegate management access, set weekly paychecks, purchase assets, pay citizens, transfer money to other organizations, or conduct business with the government.

Whether players want to run a small local shop or control the realm’s largest corporation, the business exists as a persistent part of the world.

📈 The Stock Market

Eligible companies can enter the stock market by issuing shares at an initial price. Characters can buy and sell shares, build investment portfolios, follow market activity, and profit—or lose money—as prices respond to trading.

Ownership can change through the market itself. If an investor completes a full company buyout, control of the business can pass to them, creating opportunities for hostile takeovers, corporate rivalries, and political intervention.

Stock purchases and sales can also be taxed, connecting the market directly to government policy.

🏛️ Government & Public Funds

Government officials control a real public treasury funded by taxes and other payments. They can configure taxation, distribute public money, pay citizens, support companies, and publish an automatically updated government dashboard.

The tax system can account for income, wealth, properties, vehicles, and stock-market activity. Citizens submit declarations and pay what they owe, while public employees and company workers can collect scheduled paychecks.

Good policy can create prosperity. Bad policy can create protests, empty public funds, or a very interesting election campaign.

⚖️ Justice & Criminal Records

Law-enforcement officers can mark suspects as wanted, carry out arrests, issue fines, seize vehicles, search inventories, and build persistent criminal records.

Judges can record sentences, order preventive custody, block bank accounts, and manage judicial outcomes. Citizens can review and pay active fines, while authorized officials can revoke individual records when a conviction is overturned or a sentence is cleared.

Arrests, sentences, fines, and seizures are connected to the character involved, creating a legal history that can follow them throughout their life.

🏠 Properties & Residences

Characters and companies can own registered houses, flats, offices, shops, warehouses, land, and other properties. A character can select one of their active properties as their official residence, linking their identity to a real location within the roleplay world.

Properties can also contain stored items, making homes and commercial buildings useful parts of the economy rather than decorative records.

🚗 Vehicles

Vehicles can be registered to characters or companies with their own licence plates, models, and associated storage.

Authorized departments can search registrations, inspect vehicle contents, remove records, or seize vehicles during law-enforcement operations. This makes traffic stops, investigations, impound operations, and company fleets part of the same persistent system.

🎒 Inventories & Storage

Every character has an inventory containing the items they acquire during roleplay. Items can be given to another character, consumed, discarded, placed into a property or vehicle, or moved through company storage.

Authorized roles can search a suspect’s personal inventory, properties, and vehicles. Company assets can also be searched individually, creating room for warrants, contraband investigations, raids, evidence recovery, and smuggling storylines.

🪪 Licences, Permits & Personal Documents

Characters can receive driving licences, licence points, weapon permits, property records, vehicle registrations, and other official documents.

Players can open their wallet to view their balances and documents, then choose a specific document to show another Discord user. Police checks, identity verification, traffic stops, firearm inspections, and government appointments can all happen naturally inside Discord.

Weapon permits can use an application process, while authorized personnel retain control over approvals and revocations.

🖥️ Live CAD

RoleplayEngine includes a browser-based Computer Aided Dispatch portal designed for dispatchers and emergency responders.

Police, fire, and ambulance units can join active sessions, manage their status, receive assignments, and coordinate around live incidents. Dispatchers can create calls, update their details, assign response units, and follow operations through an interactive map.

Incidents remain searchable after they are resolved, giving departments a useful operational history and helping major events become part of the realm’s ongoing story.
