Talksy is a real-time Discord translation bot that lets your whole community talk across languages without anyone switching to English. It translates messages between 100+ languages and posts each translation as the original speaker — same name, same avatar, in the same channel — so a multilingual server reads like one seamless conversation instead of a wall of bot replies, embeds, and DMs.

It runs on frontier AI translation with smart language detection, so results are context-aware and natural — not the stiff, word-for-word output older bots produce. And that AI quality is on the free plan, not locked behind a paywall.

Key features

• Inline translation, posted as the speaker. Instead of replying with an embed or sliding into DMs, Talksy uses Discord webhooks to post the translation under the original user's name and avatar, right where they said it — so the conversation flow is never broken and everyone reads every message in their own language, in real time.
• Auto-translate your channels. A member runs /talksy [language] to pick the language they want to read in, and from then on every message in your enabled channels is translated for them automatically. Admins turn it on per channel with /server channel add, so you control exactly where it works.
• Flag-emoji reactions. React to any message with a country flag emoji and Talksy instantly translates it into that language — the fastest way for anyone to understand a message on the spot, with no commands and no config.
• Channel-to-channel translation routes. Link two channels in different languages with /server route add — say, an English announcements channel mirrored into a Korean one — and everything posted in the source channel is auto-translated into the target, as the speaker. Perfect for international gaming clans, cross-region announcements, and bridging communities that don't share a language.
• Per-server glossary. Add game names, brand names, usernames, or in-jokes to a per-server glossary and Talksy leaves them untranslated every time — so the things that make your server yours never get mangled in another language.
• Translate anywhere, even without the bot. Use /translate text:... to:... for a one-off translation in any channel. And because Talksy supports user-install, /translate and the right-click → Apps → Translate Message menu work in any server you're in, even ones where Talksy isn't installed.
