TrucklineMP

TrucklineMP Bot is the official Discord integration for TrucklineMP, a community driven multiplayer modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The bot connects Discord to the TrucklineMP website, VTC system, recruitment pipeline, and notification platform so members, VTC leaders, and staff can stay in sync without leaving Discord.

Who is it for?

Community members can link their TrucklineMP account through Discord Linked Roles, view linked profiles with /profile, and receive website notifications directly in DMs.

VTC owners and administrators can verify their Discord server as the official server for their Virtual Trucking Company. Verified servers appear on the VTC's public TrucklineMP profile, giving members confidence they are in the right place.

Recruitment candidates who are accepted into a staff or beta role are guided through onboarding. If they are not yet in the main TrucklineMP Discord server, the bot sends an invite and tracks their progress until onboarding can continue automatically.

TrucklineMP staff manage the bot through the TrucklineMP admin console, including health monitoring, module toggles, guild oversight, notification backfill, and recruitment queue visibility.

What it does

• Account linking and profiles

  • Members connect their TrucklineMP account through Server Settings → Linked Roles on Discord. Once linked, /profile shows their TrucklineMP name, handle, Web ID, member since date, Steam link status, and staff role if applicable. Profile data is synced from the TrucklineMP platform.

• VTC server verification

  • VTC leaders generate a short lived verification token on trucklinemp.com → VTC Settings → Discord, then run /verify-server in their Discord server. After verification, the server is marked as the official Discord home for that VTC on TrucklineMP. /vtc shows the linked VTC for any member in that server.

• Website notification relay

  • When something happens on TrucklineMP that you need to know about, the bot can deliver it to your Discord DMs if your account is linked. Notifications are delivered in real time and also recovered through periodic backfill so nothing important is missed. Recruitment related alerts link directly to the recruitment portal at recruitment.trucklinemp.com. Other alerts link back to trucklinemp.com.

• Recruitment onboarding gate

• When a recruitment application is accepted, the bot checks whether the candidate is already in the main TrucklineMP Discord. If not, it stores a pending state, sends a DM with a server invite, and logs activity to the recruitment system. Once the candidate joins the main server, onboarding continues automatically through the broader TrucklineMP onboarding flow.
