About Sonata

Press play, let the night sing.

Sonata is a music bot for servers that actually hang out. Search by name and pick from real results, or paste a link and it plays. No setup wizard, no prefixes, no config maze ~ every command is a slash command that reads the way you'd guess it.

Karaoke nights

/karaoke start filters the lead vocal down and posts the lyrics as a live embed that highlights each line in time with the track. The whole channel sings. No other music bot does this.

Free on every server

  • Play anything ~ search by name, or paste a SoundCloud or Bandcamp link. Tracks, albums, and playlists all work.
  • Pay the artist ~ Bandcamp tracks come with a buy link in the embed, so a good night can pay the people who made it.
  • 50,000+ radio stations ~ /radio, with suggestions as you type. Jazz cafés, lo-fi streams, stations from home.
  • Song trivia ~ /trivia plays clips from your server's own listening history. First tap wins the round.
  • Saved playlists ~ snapshot the queue or build lists by hand. They belong to you, not the server, so they follow you everywhere. Share a code and friends import their own copy.
  • A queue that behaves ~ loop, shuffle, skip-to, remove duplicates, re-queue from history, /lyrics for whatever's playing.

Premium, when you want more

Unlimited queue, 24/7 mode, volume to 200%, all 17 audio filters (bassboost, nightcore, vaporwave, 8D, and more), and 50 playlists of 1,000 tracks each.

Prelude $2.99/mo covers 1 server · Serenade $3.99/mo covers 3 · Symphony $6.99/mo covers 6. Move slots between servers anytime with /premium activate.

Quiet about the things that matter

Sonata never listens to your voice channel. She plays audio ~ she doesn't record or transcribe anything, and trivia uses buttons, not your microphone. Search is filtered too: adult results surface only in age-restricted channels.
