Archivist

Archivist is the bot for exploring and sharing AO3 in Discord communities.

Paste an Archive of Our Own link and Archivist replies with a clean, readable embed, so your server can see what's being shared without leaving Discord.

What it does

• Embeds for works, chapters, series, and user profiles: ratings, warnings, tags, word counts, summaries, and more

• Chapter links let you choose between a work embed or a chapter embed

• Paginated embeds and a new image gallery for works

• /stats for a work's kudos, hits, and bookmarks

• /list to browse every work in a series

• /download to grab EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, or HTML links

Built for server mods

• Redirect embeds to specific channels by rating, fandom, or type

• Block embeds by rating, warnings, or tags

• Choose which fields appear in each embed type

Respectful by design

• Embeds for locked, registered-user-only works are never displayed, protecting creators' privacy

• Archivist does not store your messages

• Rate-limited and cached so it's a good neighbor to AO3

Free, always. There are no premium features or paywalls. Archivist is a passion project made by fans, for fans.

Archivist is not affiliated with the OTW or AO3.
