Quick start

1. Use /newbot command in the @BotFather dialogue to create your new Telegram bot and receive a token or use a token of your existing bot
2. Provide your bot token with /connect command in any Text channel on your Discord server where you want to forward Telegram chats
3. Your bot conversations will be forwarded into a connected channel in public threads
4. Replies in created threads will be forwarded back into a Telegram chat.

FAQ

What if a customer replies to an old thread?

If the thread is older than 24 hours a new thread will start. Otherwise, customer reply will be forwarded to the same thread as before.

Why don't I see my Telegram avatar in Discord messages?

Check your Telegram settings → Privacy and Security → Profile photo. It should be either set to «Everybody» or allowed in exceptions for group or bot.
