About CHORIDOR

CHORIDOR is a two player strategy game based on Quoridor. You and an opponent each control a pawn on a 9x9 board. The goal is simple: get your pawn to the far side before your opponent reaches theirs. The twist is that on any turn you can place a wall instead of moving, forcing your opponent onto a longer route.

The rules

  • On your turn you either move your pawn one square (up, down, left, or right) or place a wall.
  • Each player has 10 walls. A wall is two squares long and blocks movement across it.
  • You can never fully seal your opponent off. There always has to be a path to their goal, so every game stays winnable.
  • When your pawn and your opponent's are next to each other, you can jump over them.

Walls are where the game gets interesting. A good one can cost your opponent several moves, but you only have ten, so each one is a real decision.

Ways to play

  • Online: start a game and play with a friend in your voice channel.
  • vs AI: play the computer on your own, or while you wait for someone to join.
  • Local: two players on the same screen.

Also included

  • Spectators can watch a game in progress and are moved into the next match automatically when a seat opens up.
  • One tap rematch after a game ends.
  • Move hints, wall previews, board flip, optional animations, and sound, all working on desktop and touch.
