Analysis
The 5,069 bots tracked in this report added 2,277,609 servers between the start and end of September, a rise of 0.92% that brought the total from 248,233,270 to 250,510,879. Growth was far more common than decline: 3,410 bots gained servers and 852 lost them.
Carl-bot posted the largest gain of the month at 200,000 servers, reaching 12,900,000 and a 1.57% increase. Jockie Music added 180,000 servers (2.59%) to reach 7,130,000, the fastest percentage gain among the ten largest bots. Dyno and ProBot each added 100,000 servers, and Ticket Tool added 70,000. MEE6, Rythm and Midjourney Bot held their positions at the top of the table with no change, while Dank Memer lost 20,000 servers and was the only bot in the top ten to shrink.
Among smaller bots, Watch Together grew 10.47% with a gain of 36,000 servers, and TTS Bot and Sapphire rose 4.78% and 4.59% respectively. The fastest percentage growth came from much smaller bases: Codenames Online added 2,511 servers for a 306.59% increase, and Auto Role Bot added 2,720 servers for 139.49%. The steepest decline was Dailybot, which fell 8,540 servers, or 76.94%. Ayana (-10,000) and Tickets (-10,000) were the largest losses by server count after Dank Memer.
Moderation and Tools remained the biggest category by servers with 155,046,597, up 1,532,927 (1%). Social carried 172,559,882 servers across 2,689 bots and gained 1,503,927, a 0.88% rise. Utilities grew the fastest in percentage terms at 1.71%, adding 408,554 servers, while Games had the smallest increase at 0.64%.
Several bots crossed server milestones during the month. esmBot passed 500,000 servers at 504,000 and Lofi Girl passed 100,000 at 101,000. Translator Bot and Guild Manager each passed 50,000, and ten bots listed in the data reached 10,000.
The month also brought 165 new bots. AiGuild entered with 28,100 servers, the most of any newcomer, followed by BotScripts at 21,900 and Rules Bot at 20,300. Daily Word Wheel appeared with 10,200 servers and Half Dice with 4,630.
